A few years ago I bought a copy of a hand-drawn map of Patrick County (at the PCVA Historical Society), that has been very helpful while researching families there. It shows the roads, streams, towns etc., but also shows old schoolhouses, churches, stores and water-powered mills. The roads are labeled by both name and route numbers and the mountains are also labeled. It is not an old map, it was copyrighted in 1976 and includes modern day changes. Are there any Carroll County maps available that are similar to the Patrick County map? Thanks, darlene
