I have not heard about the situation that is being discussed, but some of my ancestors lived in Carroll Co. therefore I feel I can speak. We study History to learn about the past and to hopefully learn from the mistakes our forefathers made. It is my personal opinion that too many secrets have been kept in families. Sadly when secrets are kept they allow things to happen that may be worse than the orginal act. I think one of my GGgrandfathers was a bigamist. We don't always like what we find, but it is still important to learn what we can. My mother who has altzheimers and can no longer tell me anything about the past once mentioned a shooting at the Carroll County Courthouse. I don't know about that either.......I don't know if any of my family was involved....she can't tell me now that I am interested....so I have to rely on others. I would hate for someone to tell me to forget it......it is better left in the past. Wandra
