I don't think you will find it on a site. This is a tragedy that was not talked about by the older citizens of Floyd or Carroll Co. No one knows the complete story, just what was told by folks who heard it from other folks. There are still descendants living in the area and elsewhere. I would hate to see it on a website with only hand me down stories and half truths. I don't think the "Shoot out" was investigated as was the Allen Tragedy and few court records exist. Out of respect for a very dear friend of mine, now deceased, I would like to follow his lead. Let it rest.
