I've spent the past 3 years compiling a database of all the people who lived in Carroll from about 1800 to the 1920's. Although I'm still adding to it, it now includes over 52,000 people. My goal is to donate it to the Carroll Genealogical Society where it can be added to (and corrected, I'm sure) to link all Carroll inhabitants together. I plan to make the donation after I retire next October. In the meantime, if you have information you would like to add to it, I would deeply appreciate receiving it. Or, if you need a lookup from what I have, just ask; I'm happy to oblige. If you ask about some ancestor and I have him/her in my database, I'll gladly send you what I have. I only ask that you contribute a generation to it (if you can) plus correct any misinformation that I have. However, don't be shy about asking if I have someone. Odds are, I've probably got something and I'll gladly check. Ron Hall
