(Elisha was the son of Zachariah and Mary Wright) John married Susannah Hurst, daughter of Wesley and Charity Nunn Hurst in Pulaski Co on 7 Sept 1862. (Charity Nunn was my gt-gt-grandfather's sister) John and Susannah resided in Carroll Co and had four children: 1. unknown 2. Elijah Nunn 20 Jan 1872 - 26 Aug 1895, unmarried 3. William Perry Nunn 24 Oct 1873 - 15 Oct 1957 4. Mary E. Nunn 1 Aug 1875 - 25 Nov 1951 According to William Perry's obit in the Galax Gazette, he was survived by one niece Mrs Ernest Turman of Pulaski and one nephew Johnson Marshall of Allisonia.
