You are wrong when you think someone is attacking you. You are being attacked by a virus that is in someone's computer unbeknownst by them. It is self propagating. In other words, someone with your email address in their address book has a virus in their computer. There are two ways to stop a virus: 1.) NEVER open a .EXE attachment for any reason unless it is a program you downloaded from a reputable site. 2.) Enter the address inside the quotes "AAAAA@" into your address book. If you do get a virus, it can't be sent because just ONE faulty address will stop your computer from emailing the virus to the balance of addresses that are legitimate. 3. I appear to be under attack by some malicious person, who is sending me spam-infected, 200+ kbyte attachments at a rate up to 30 per hours. I have received over 80, today alone. The messages purport to come from jj@prodigy.net.mx, but that is a spoofed address ... The headers indicate they are received by earthlink.net from simpson.k12.ms.us My attempts to contact someone in a responsible position at that domain have failed. Is anyone else receiving similar email? Thanks, Freddie S.

    3. Hi. Do you think you mother would donate a copy of her book to the Carroll County Genealogy Club for everyone to see. It would be put in the club book collection which is growing bigger every year. Surry County NC also has a Genealogical and History Room at Surry Community College which would be a great place for many to see a copy of her work. 2. Dear Jason, My mother, Ruthie E. Horton, wrote a book of memoirs entitled A Courageous Woman. She was born in Carroll County and talks about the Bridge Store which was owned at one time by her brothers. The map at the back of her book shows the store was on route 221 on the Big Reed Island River. At one time there was a covered bridge there. I believe it has since been replaced. When I asked mother about it she said her brothers bought the store from their uncle Sam Quesenberry, who bought it from Miles Dalton's father. She was not sure of his father's name, but said it sounded like "Teed" Dalton. The Branscome cemetery is near there, but she didn't know of the Dalton or Duncan cemeteries. If you wish to order her book, send a check or money order for $23.51 (this includes cost of mailing) or if you just wish to contact her, you can write to: Ruthie E. 3. I would also like to hear any information about the Greenberry Duncan Cem and the William Dalton Cem. I descend from Greenberry Duncan (1785-1860) through his son John (1815-1894). I have a picture of John Duncan and his wife Lucy Dalton on my webpage. I have a note that says the Greenberry Duncan Cem is on SR 613 in Carroll Co. I have driven through that area a few times, but didn't see the cemetery. I may have passed right by it, but simply not seen it through the trees. Does anyone know where it is? I also descend from William Dalton (1747-1811) through two of his sons Timothy and Lewis. The William Dalton Cem is supposed to be "near Bridge Store" in Carroll Co, but that doesn't help me very much. Any ideas? 3. I have been to both of these cemeteries and the same is true for the Greenberry Duncan Cemetery. Supposedly Thomas Jefferson Phillips and his wife Sarah Jane Cooper Phillips; and Greenberry Duncan and his wife Nancy Phillips Duncan (daughter of Tobias Phillips) are buried in the Greenberry Duncan Cemetery.
