Major William Henry Haynes was born Aug 30, 1785 in Virginia and died May 10, 1873 in Clifton Forge, Va (Alleghany County). He was a Major in the War of 1812. One of his sons was names William Hill Haynes. He was born in Botetourt County, Va Jan 6, 1810 and died in 1894. He was a Captain in the Civil War. Married Jenetta Gilliland Nov 2, 1843 in Alleghany Co, VA. You can look through the info on our tree and might be able to piece something together.
