Hi all! The info that Peg posted is the same that I have and is exactly what I did to get a marker on my great grandfather's grave in Greenlawn. The only exception is that in Caroline there is a UDC member who has been responsible for actually finding the graves and for helping to file the papers for the markers. She and her husband order the stones through David Storke Funeral home and place the stones themselves. They just put my stone on for me this past weekend......Lots of work and effort and no compensation other than the satisfaction of knowing that these men are finally getting a decent marker. by the way.... If there is a stone already on the grave, then the veteran would not be entitled to a free one from the Federal Gov't. Linda
