    1. Young Family
    2. Laurence E. Dickerson
    3. I am looking for information on the following Young family, listed on the Caroline County census of 1850: Young, Frances W. age 50 Young, Sarah W. age 22 Young, Paulina E. age 19 Young, Eliza J. age 16 Young, Joseph W. age 13 Young, Mary E. age 11 I presume that Frances was the mother, probably widowed. Sarah W. Young married my gg-grandfather, Isaac Lee Eubank, on 20 December 1852 in Caroline County. She died about 1856. They had no children. The 1850 census also lists a Margaret Ann Young, a separate entry, but on the same page as the above family. I believe she was an older sister of Sarah. Caroline County marriage records contain an entry for Ann Young and James Dyson dated 8 March 1853. Later court records and the 1860 census give James' wife's name as Margaret. Following Sarah's death, Isaac Lee Eubank married again, to James Dyson's sister, Ellen Virginia Dyson. Could the connection between Isaac and Virginia have been a mutual sister-in-law, Margaret Young Dyson? If anyone is familiar with this family and can verify or disprove any of my speculations, I would be most interested.
