I would be interested to know what sources are available for Caroline County prior to 1780. So far, I have found only the following: -- wills: from 1732 -- court order record books: from 1732 -- surveyor's book of 1729-1762 Specifically, are there: -- any extant church records, such as vestry books or list of tithables? -- any voters or landowners lists? -- any catalogue of gravestone inscriptions that might have births prior to 1780? -- any business documents Anything else?
