I think its a great idea! Best book I've come across so far for AA genealogy is : Black Genealogy by Charles L Blockson- Black Classic Press- Baltimore MD- I found it at Crown Books so I'm sure its available everywhere. Also heard good things about "the African American Genealogocal Sourcebook " by Paula K Byers- although I haven't read that one.
