Hello everyone, Our next chat is scheduled for July 29 at 10:00 EST. For anyone new who would like to know more about it, drop me an email and I'll fill ya in with all the details. Topics for discussion will be: Finding good places to research, Finding good places to write for information, Helpful people to contact, and maybe even Caroline Cemetery stories. And as usual, we'll go with the flow and may not discuss these topics at all. But we'll try..... :) There has also been a suggestion that we do a roll call again with everyone listing their email contact and the surnames they are researching. As this information rolls in, I'll keep track of it and try to compile a master list and then send it back out to the List. We're seeing in the chats that a lot of us are researching the same families and maybe we can do more swapping of info.With all the people on the Mailing List, we could have quite a resource of names. So, I'll go first with Peg Price at bearpaw@alaska.net researching Trice, Bruce, Wright, Brooks,and Lumpkin One final note: If someone posts a query, it would really be great to post the response to the List if you feel the information would be helpful and interesting. Keep in mind, everything we write in these messages gets archived by Rootsweb so if it's personal stuff, you might want to write privately. If you run across any interesting little tidbit of information or a new book or a new place you explored in Caroline, an upcoming family reunion, a Civil War re-enactment, a family newsletter you know about, a new surname url you've found etc. we'd love to hear about it.
