In checking records for traces of my Barlow family I found the following information in the Caroline County order book August 1783. The estate of John Mason left to Crosha (I believe spelling correct) Mason for her lifetime being divided among the following parties: (I assume she died intestate - this is not clear from the record) David Mason 1/9th share John Mason 1/9th share William Mason 1/9th share William Barlow & wife Mary 1/9th share John Sizer and wife Ruth 1/9th share James Gray and wife Flower 1/9th share William Faulcher and Susannah his wife 1/18th share Flower Martin and her guardians 1/18th share Nancy and Martha Oakes guardians 1/9th share Steven and Caty Oliver Mason's guardians 1/9th share. September 1783 - division recorded. This suggests a family group to me. Can anyone identify them as such? At this point I do not have a maiden name for Mary Barlow, and it would be nice to have placed her at last. Thanks, Phyllis Solter
