James married Clarkey Mayes, daughter of Richard Mayes in Charlotte Co Va in 1802. There has been mention of a family split while in Va, and the 3 brothers went to Kentucky. Anyone having any info PLEASE contact me, as James is my brick wall. I have been searching for the last 2 years and can find no info on him. I have the info on his children, the 2 boys, Richard 1804, Allen W. 1809. I would appreciate any help. I will gladly share what info that I have.
