(St. Mary's) Deed of Elizabeth McCarty, executrix of Dennis McCarty late of St. John's Parish in King Willliam County to William Madison, son of Elizabeth McCarty, for 200 acres part of 400 acres in St. Margaret's Parish in Caroline County patented by Thomas Carr, Gentleman, on 16 Aug 1721 and sold by him to Dennish McCarty on 16 Jan 17__. And I found this in Caroline County, Virginia Court Records: Exempt from Paying the County Levy: June 1788 -Richard Clatterbuck, DAVID MC CARTY, James Sacrey, William Claytor, Benjamin Bowler, John Turner, John Webster and William Broughill.
