I would like to find information on two Eubank females, probably sisters, who married two men named Young. I believe the Eubanks were daughters of James Eubank and Lucy Butler who were married in Caroline County, Virginia on 11 January 1819. James and Lucy had at least four children, though there may have been five. There were definitely two sons, James B. and Isaac Lee Eubank, and two daughters, thought to have been named Mollie [Mary] and Lizzie. On the 1850 census, Lucy Butler Eubank's household contains James B. Eubank and Lucy D. Eubank [probably 'Lizzie.'] Caroline County marriage records contain an entry for a wedding between Mary J. Eubank and Joseph T. Young. The bonds were secured on December 26th, 1839, and the marriage took place January 14th, 1840. Another entry in the marriage records is for Sarah E. Eubank and John Young. The bonds were secured by James B. Eubank on December 11th, 1843, and the marriage occurred on December 25th, 1843. It is possible that Sarah remarried at a later date. A May 30, 1876, deed instructs Isaac L. Eubank to pay Sarah Thompson the sum of $6.76 as her share of the settlement of an estate. I would be most interested in hearing from anyone who may have knowledge of either Mary J. or Sarah E. Eubank or their families. - Larry Dickerson
