June 10th at 11 am there will be a dedication program of a historic highway marker at the location of the Golansville Meeting House and Cemetery. Location US 1 and CR 601 Caroline County. A crowd of 85 or so is expected with people coming from as far away as California. The public is invited. Some state officials will attend along with several who have written books to aid in family tree research. The program is expected to last approximately 1 hour. A box lunch will be available for $6.50 and will be served at the Ladysmith Rescue Squad building. Older people may want to bring a folding chair.
