Taylor owner of Hazelwood & Hayfield property? According to Court Record Data This John Taylor died in 1824. I am getting confused with all the John Taylors Court Record Data states: 1.John Taylor, Jr. held Liberty Hill during his life. 2.Hazelwood & Hayfield property of John Taylor dec'd 1824 3.Liberty Hill property of John Taylor Sr 4.Palestine property of Dr. John Taylor 5.John Taylor Jr. Caroline Co. 1853 Will 6.John Taylor Caroline Co. 1824 Family: John Taylor Jr. & wife Lucy Children: Edmund Taylor, John Taylor Children of John Taylor Jr. & his last wife ?; Bazil Taylor, Agnes Taylor, James Taylor & Bernard Taylor It would appear that the family of John Taylor, Sr. were children: William Taylor, John Taylor, Jr., Henry Taylor, George Taylor & Edmund Taylor. It seems that these John Taylor's held property in Caroline, Essex, King George, Stafford and Rappahannock Counties. I am looking for information on a John C. Taylor married to a Judith Cooke Terrier d/o Francis Terrier & his wife Elizabeth Crewdson and resided in Stafford County. This John C. Taylor and his wife Judith had a daughter Ann Elizabeth Taylor who married William Henry Miller and resided in Rappahannock Co. at "Poplar Shade" Plantation her lifetime. I am wondering if there might be a connection to one of the John Taylor's of Caroline County. Any help is most appreciated. Thank you.
I would like to see where this is going since I just counted 35 John Taylor's in my database and all are descendants of James Taylor I!! Most do not have wives listed and I have not really 'worked' this line.
