I am not even sure yet where my family is related but I think it might be my grandfather's mother's family. Charles was his great uncle. His name was Charles Barbour. I would also love to see the photo you have. In the photo of John and Mini Poates there is a woman standing in the doorway of the house. I don't know who she is but I might be able to either scan it for you or make a copy. This really is exciting. I have found family I never knew exsisted in Barren Co. Kentucky. They are relatives on my grandfathers father's side. There is a lot of very dark stuff in that family! I am just so excited about this. It's a wonderful feeling to have "ROOTS"
