Hello everyone, I really must thank Peg for allowing me the pleasure of 'listsitting' the Caroline County mailing list while she winters in the sunny southwest! Communicating on the road is difficult at best, so we'll just put her mind at ease by doing our best to keep things running smoothly! Over the time I've been maintaining five of the Caroline County GenConnect boards, I've corresponded with many of you, and know many more of you through your posts to the list. I know we'll get to know each other better over the winter months. I admire Peg's easy manner on the list, and promise to do my best until she gets home! My own roots go deep in Caroline County, and there are four primary families I research....Sullivan, Hewlett, Charlton, and Chandler. By the end of the Revolutionary War, they had all moved on to Greenville County, SC, but I still have many generations to work on while they lived in the County!
