My William White, of Caroline Co., had a daughter named Caty, who married into the Moorman family (James Venable Moorman). They were married about 1798, so it all fits. The surname I have for Caty or Catherine, wife of William, is Chapman. Pendleton is a name used in my family, as in Pendleton Chapman Moorman. Again, thanks so much.
