Will of John Brumskill (died between 10 March 1761 and 10 March 1762) Four children viz William Brumskill, Isbell Brumskill, ELizabeth Terry and Hannah Brumskill. Exors: William Brumskill and Thomas Terry. William Brumskill married Mary Boulware. He died without an issue and left a will dated 5 Jan. 1770 in which he left to his wife Mary Brumskill, the widow, later married Daniel Turner. Isabella Brumskill married Thomas Scott and died without issue. Will of William Brumskill....5 Jan 1770/May 1771... Sister Isabella Scott land called Arnolds. Sister Hannah Scott legacy from our deceased father, Rev. John Brumskill. Wife Mary Brumskill. These sisters named Martha, Isabella and Hannah. "Sister Clark's children and sister Terry's children". Farish, Nathaniel Ware and Ann Ware his wife, Thomas Johnson and Elizabeth Johnson his wife_____, Hubbard and Emily Hubbard his wife, James Scott, Richard Scott children of Harrard B. Scott and Sarah Scott his wife against Thomas Scott and Robert Scott. Sarah Scott, widow, states that many years ago, John Scott died intestate and Francis W. Scott took letters of administration upon his estate. At his death, John Scott left a widow Lucy Scott, and children viz Robert Scott, Emily Scott, Ann G. Scott, Francis W. Scott, Harrod B. Scott, Martha Scott and John Scott. Since John Scott's death, Ann G. Scott has married Nathaniel Ware, Martha Scott has married Charles T. Farish and she has died. Harrod B. Scott died intestate and Francis W. Scott is his administrator. Lucy Scott the widow of John Scott later married Spilsby Woolfolk and she recently died leaving 13 slaves from her Dower from John Scott to be distributed to their heirs. Robert Scott, another of the sons of John Scott, decd. received his share of his father's estate during his father's lifetime and is receiving no more. 8 Nov. 1847 Scott, Francis W., administrator of John Scott vs Byrd George, executor of Reuben Tankersley Letter addressed to Francis W. Scott at White Chimneys in Caroline from B.W. Leigh of Richmond City. 8 July 1833 Francis W. Scott, administrator of John Scott late sheriff of Caroline. Sutton, Joseph vs William Guy's administrator, Francis Guy Joseph Sutton states that on 12 January 1807 he agreed to purchase 100 acres from William Guy and William Guy died before he could receive a title to the land. Frances Guy, widow of William Guy, is suing for payment for the land for herself and Henry Guy, Elizabeth Guy, Frances Guy, William Guy, Warner Guy, Franklin Guy, Thomas Guy, Samuel Guy, May Ann Guy, and Margaret Guy, children and heirs of the said William Guy. Frances, William, Warner, Franklin, Thomas, Samuel, Mary Ann and Margaret are infants. Nov. 1809 Frances Guy states that William Guy died before May 1807 and Alben Rawlins, who held one of the payment for the land, died before May 1807. 1 October 1810 William Guy was licensed to perform marriages 11 Jan 1808 Court orders badge of mourning for Samuel C. Scott, Esq., who died suddenly and copies of their resolution to his wife and his aged parents. 8 May 1848 Enjoy.... June
