He appointed his four sons as executors. George Jones died in 1796 and in his will dated 16 August 1796, left to his four children viz Richard Jones, John Jones, Sarah Jones and Elizabeth Jones. Since George Jones' death, his mother, Sarah Jones, has died testate but failed to devise to the heirs of George Jones, decd.
