Dear Friends, Just wanted to let you know that I'm going to have to give up being the host of this mailing list until I return here to Homer in March. I'm going to be on the road and it will just be too difficult to talk with everyone in a timely manner and take care of maintaining the List. I'm going to miss you all!!! But I shall return and plan on hosting the List again when I get back. The Caroline homepage will remain in place and everything will be fully operational. I just don't know how often I can make changes to the page itself. It may very well remain the same til I return. You should continue posting queries, etc. and posting to the List, etc. None of that will be affected by this switchover. I'll be here til the end of September but I want to turn over the management of the List and the Obit and Query boards to LaRae (whom you'll meet soon!) now so we can iron out any kinks that may appear. LaRae has so graciously offered to watch over everything while I'm away. She is managing our other Caroline boards (Pension, Wills, etc.) and just does an absolutely superb job. She will be on call to answer all your questions and give help if you need that. My email will remain bearpaw@alaska.net and I'll be here til Sept. 29.
