Linda, Charles City County is south east of Caroline Co. at the present time. Charles City county was formed in 1634 and at least 14 counties have come from it over the years. New market is in the northern Shenandoah Valley and not very close to Caroline Co. Charles City is just 2 or 3 counties away from Caroline.
