I am researching my husband's family and have it traced back to Archibald Burden born in Amherst County Va. in 1745. I am wondering if there is a connection. Archibald's oldest son is James, born in1772. I have been unable to make the connection but feel that your James may be a brother to Archibald. Sure would love to find this information.
