Counties covered Caroline, King George, Spotsylvania, Stafford and the City of Fredericksburg. I called the court house to obtain a deed record and was directed to the Heritage Center. In one room there are records in acid free boxes and folders, sorted by name for Spotsylvania, with original estate and other records. There is also a room with more Caroline County records besides what is on the shelf in the main room. There are boxes with pictures and newspapers and everything. I went both days during the week and still only was able to get through a small part of the collection. It is worth a visit. Tiffany
