Looking for anyone who may have a bible record, deed or other document that names Walter L. Garrett as a son of William & Elizabeth Taylor Garrett. Walter L. was b 1793 in Caroline Co, VA, son of William, b 1752. William d 1825 Lloyds, Essex, VA and lived in both Caroline and Essex Counties. Have names of all children from other records and books, “The Garrett Family of Caroline and Essex Counties, VA” and History of Caroline Co. VA.” These books are not satisfactory proof for the Texas SAR genealogist, I was told. Despite the fact that all factual research by myself for William’s children matches up with the Garrett book exactly, I’m unable to an actual connector for Walter and parents. I have searched countless records, sources and consulted paid researchers. I need a bible or deed record, or maybe a letter that calls Walter a sibling, if any are around. Can anyone help?
