I am also researching the Longs of Caroline County. Caroline County was formed in 1728 I believe from Spotsylvania and Old Rappahannock before that. I believe I am descended from Jeremiah & Frances Long who lived there in the late 1600's. I can't find the documents to prove this, but it is my belief. I would be very interested in which LONGS you are researching, Chris Thiessen
