Va. My maternal grandfather, was his grandson. We have trouble linking all of this together, as his mother, Eliza Jackson (I think she is Dinks oldest child) had several children, some with different last names. Was your Dinks' first name William? If so would love to know any information that you have as to the history. My mother Beatrice Franklin Parker, has few memories of the family, as she was born in DC, where Eliza eventually migrated. Thanks for any help you can give.

Among my ancestors were the couple Wm. Francis Jackson and Lucinda Beasley/Beazley. There were several of the latter in and around Caroline, so I'm wondering if they (who wound up in Pike Co, IL) could have originated there? Any ideas? We're talking ca l830 or so.
