    3. Bernie, Thanks for the information. I was aware of the Chenault 'Red Book', but have not seen it yet. My link to the Chinault/Chenault's is through my GGGGrandmother, Lucy Chinault, b abt 1800 and d. bet. 1860-1870. She married Lewis Haynes. I think she maybe a daughter of Stephen Chinault and Mary, and she may be the sister of Brooking Chinault, but I can not prove this yet, it is just an assumption I am making based on were they lived. I can not link the Campbell's you mentioned to the ones in my line. I am linked to the Campbell's through Harriet Campbell who married Thomas Broaddus. Harriet was a daughter of Joseph Campbell. She was first married to a Thomas Sale.
