I noticed that there are several references to the Brooks of Caroline County, VA. I am researching the Robert & Elsa(Haslop) Brooks family from the early 1800's from Caroline County, VA. Their daughter, Rebecca, married Olin Wright. Rebecca & Olin later lived in Baltimore in the late 1800's. Would these names be in your family research? Physical Description of Haislip Family Cemetery in Caroline Located just over the present Caroline line, in the edge of Spotsylvania county on Blue Star Lane. The cemetery is located on a private road one mile from Blue Star Lane on land now owned by David Satterwhite. This cemetery is well maintained and a high brick wall, approximately 22 yards by 17 yards and 5 foot high, encloses the site. There is an iron gate at the entrance. The construction of this wall was a project of the Spotsylvania High School masonry class, when Jimmy Clarke was a Student. There is a walnut tree in the back corner of the cemetery and also there are 4 graves in the back marked at the head with field stones. On the other end, near the marked graves, are 3 other graves marked by field stones, two adults and one child. Four graves are marked with commerical stones: Joseph A. Haislip 1836-1901, Dorotha A. Haislip 1833-1904, Tinker Bell 1961-1976, John J.
