    3. Diane Nicholson, I just have to ask - is your Nicholson line of the Maryland Eastern Shore Nicholson's (aka the Naval Nicholson's) or from the Skyline Drive Nicholson's? My Nicholsons were from the Skyline Drive area. Cheers, Michael Kent Island, Maryland (but working in Annapolis) researching Taylor, Pavy, Goldman in Caroline County. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Diane" <NicKnack101@comcast.net> To: <vacaroli@rootsweb.com> Sent: Tuesday, June 26, 2007 6:59 PM Subject: Re: [VACAROLI] Genealogy Records in Caroline > Hi, > I'm sure that others will have more information than I have, but this is > what I know -- many of the 17th, 18th and 19th records from Caroline and > other counties in the area were destroyed by fire during the Civil War.
