    1. [VACAROLI] CARTER'S of Caroline, VA early 1800's
    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Author: savasnia Surnames: CARTER Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.virginia.counties.caroline/4083/mb.ashx Message Board Post: I am still searching for my CARTER ancestors. I am searching for the parents of Franklin/Francis Manley CARTER born ca. 1817 in Caroline County, VA. I understand Caroline is a burned county but I am hoping there is a will or some other document that will reveal the identity of one or both of his parents. With Franklin's birth date in mind and using the 1840 census I think I have narrowed down possible parents for him: James(aged 60-70), Elizabeth (70-80), Zachariah 50-60), James L., William W. (50-60) and Elizabeth. If any one has any helpful information I would be most appreciative. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. 3. I have been researching Carter's of Caroline also. Through my research, I have not found a Francis/Franklin Manley Carter, but I will keep you in mind and if I find something will pass it on. gc-gateway@rootsweb.com wrote: > This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. > > Author: savasnia > Surnames: CARTER > Classification: queries > > Message Board URL: > > http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.virginia.counties.caroline/4083/mb.ashx > > Message Board Post: > > I am still searching for my CARTER ancestors.
