Margaret's parents are Richard and Nancy Merriman BROOKS, also born in VA. Richard's father is JAMES BROOKS of VA who fought in the Am Rev. Richard and Nancy Brooks were in Rockcastle Co. KY <1830 and settled there having more children. I am looking for "a" connection between my Richard Brooks and the Brooks in the Ohio County KY area, namely this Philip Brooks.
