I too am seeking information about a Thomas Jones of Caroline County/Bowling Green, Virginia. Specifically "Thomas L. Jones", born circa 1812 (in New Jersey according to Census records), married "Mary L. H. Cecil" in Caroline Co., where he/they lived the remainder of his/their lives. They had several children, including my great grandmother Ida Belle Jones. I'm away from my database (home computer) for 2 more days, but would love to compare notes with anyone who may think we have a possible link. Thanks for posting your data with the list. David E. (2) Thomas was born 1720 or earlier, married before 1748 Sarah Woolfolk, daughter of Robert Woolfolk. He is listed as Thomas Jones of Dougetown Bridge, to distinguish him from other Thomas Jones living in Caroline.
