Mark: My great-grandfather was Robert Jasper Thomas, who was born in Caroline County, VA on March 29, 1958 and died there on November 20, 1935. He married Annie Elizabeth Josephine Long, who was born on July 16, 1856 and died on February 14, 1933. They had eight children: Dorothy Ann, William James (Eugene), Robert Lue, Marion Noah (my grandfather), Sissie W., Samuel Wirt, Frank Elmore and Mary Bertha. My grandfather, Marion Noah (Mamie) Thomas, was born in 1880 and died in 1919 during the influenza epidemic. Could this be the same person you're looking for?
