It probably was a combination of the info in the cemetery books on Bridges and Dickensons. I have been watching for ref. to Ellim for years as Jones and Dickensons have been mentioned. Richard's plantation was called "Ellim Hill". It was from "Broad Plains" the Bridges place. I did a very foolish thing many years ago, I threw my original notes away from the deeds of Caroline. I just have abstracts I made. I'm tempted to get the films again and go over them for all the lateral lines to Jones. The only Rhoda Jones I've seen is a family that went to Giles Tenn. too late for my Rhoda. Thank heaven for people like Collins, CAmpbell, Wingfield who have saved so much for us.
