I show that John was born in Caroline County, Virginia in 1740 and Margaret was born in Orange County, North Carolina in 1750. In my research, I found the courthouse in Caroline County was burned in the early 1800's and have been unable to get any clue as to who the parents of John were. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I know it's late to let anyone know but there is a Harper/Crosweight/Crosswhite reunion on July 3 in Mountain City, TN, if interested.
