They were md. abt 1751 supposedly in Caroline Co. They had these Children: 1. Thomas Jones born ca 1755. This is the Thomas everyone wants to claim. I beleive he is the Thomas who has a pension and goes to Spotsylvania about 1838. His wife was ELizabeth. He didn't name his children or give wife's maiden name. It may be his land Hill Jones is selling in 1837. 2.George Jones born ca 1758. George's Will Proved Sep 1796 in Caroline. Thos. was his exec. No family mentioned. 3. Joseph Jones born 6 May 1757 according to his pension. He md Sarah Chandler 12 Nov 1779 Caroline. She was born 5 Feb 1761. He died 1837 in Owen Ky. 4.Louisa Jones born ca 1760. Md. 13 Feb 1782 Richard Bridges. She died 18 Apg 1826 Caroline. She and Richard lived at "Elim Hill" There is a chancery suit that names all the children 1801-6. 5. Edmond Jones born bef. 1765 according to 1810 census of Caroline. He was in the militia 1775, perhaps as drummer? He's listed as tobacco grower 1798. He md. Elizabeth.His estate was sold to James Gatewood by Thomas and George. Can anyone give us anymore on this family?
