The information below was sent to me years ago regarding Vaughans in Caroline Co. I've not been to Caroline Co to deatil these items more. There seems to be a connection between Vaughans and Gants/Gaunts and between Vaughans/Riddles--the Thomas Riddle mentioned may be the father of my Guinetta Riddle who married William Vaughan; William was the son of a John Vaughan; William moved to Culpeper around 1770 where my g-g-g-grandfather George Washington Vaughan was born in 1772. I have a dream that somebody will stumble across an old letter up in the attic or discover some documentation that will sort all of these items out.
