Mrs. Armiger was an active member of the Caroline Historical Society. She served in the Navy and also worked in the loan department of Union Bank and Trust. She is survived by her daughter, Virginia Grant; three granddaughters; and several great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held May 23, 2000 at Arlington National Cemetery.
