Folks, If anyone out there has easy access to William L. HOPKINS "Caroline Co. Court & Marriage Records 1787-1810" [Richmond: Hopkins 1987] I would appreciate a look-up in the index to determine if there are any mentions of the TYNES / TINES family. I'm especially looking for any mention of a power of attorney granted, in 1790, to one Samuel TYNES / TINES of Kershaw or Lancaster County S.C. to deal with the estates of the deceased parents of Stephen TERRY in Caroline County.
