Anyone have any information about a place called"Port Royal" in Caroline Co., VA.? Back in 1799, a JOSEPH TIMBERLAKE and his wife ELIZABETH DIXON died there. (Joseph Timberlake ws born in Middlesex Co., VA., in 1714.). I need information on the following surnames that connected through marriage in the 1700's. those surnames are: DIXON, PRICE, OLIVER, ROYAL, and TIMBERLAKE. Where exactly was Port Royal?
