This John Hampton (and there were many!) was the son of John Hampton. He was born in Caroline County in 1734, married Elizabeth Clark and had 6 children: George, Anna, Mary, Frances, Sarah, and Jane. George married Mary Nugent Ballard, Anna married Rob't Collins, and then Daniel Northup, Mary married Joseph Dejarnett, Frances married Edmund Jones, Sarah married Edwin Gibson, and Jane married William Ball. Does anyone out there have any information that may be helpful? Thanks!!
