My ancestor owned property in Caroline County, so they say, and he died there. I am having a hard time finding anything on my ancestor in VA. I find a lot of other McCarty's but not David. David McCarty b abt 1759 Shenandoah, VA, d 1800 Caroline Co, VA I don't know the name of his wife, when or where married I don't know the names of his parents, dates etc. I do have a document for sale of property in 1800 that names all his children- John, Sally (m.
