From the microfilm - Caroline Land Tax 1782 - 1812 (reel 62) This was one large sheet of paper - written on both sides, 3 hand drawn columns on each side sectioned to arrange alphabetically. A piece about 3 x 5 looks as if it has been cut out or torn away. In this list the old accounting terms were used thus "Dr" means the person receiving the land and "To" means the person transferring the land.
