    1. Jones on Land Tax Rolls - District 1
    2. Land Tax Rolls - from microfilm - Dist 1 (1813-1843) I plan to re-check some of this transcription and fill in the years I haven't done & add years. This is only a draft copy and I hope Jones researchers will look over this and write with any comments and/or identifications. It is often hard to decipher microfilm and old hand writing. 3. Hi - I am looking for Elizabeth Jones who married Thomas Starke - Thomas lived in Hanover and Louisa Counties before he migrated to Georgia. However, his father's plantation was on the N. Anna River - the border between Caroline and Hanover, and his mother was from Caroline. I know this is like looking for a needle in the haystack but Elizabeth and Thomas named their youngest son, my ancestor, Philip Jones Stark - and it is his name that I think perhaps was her maiden name although I have no proof of this. So, if you ever run across as Philip Jones - let me know! Diane Stark Sanfilippo
