    3. The only Brooks I have is one that married Anna B. Bowie b 01 Jan 1921 who was the dau of William D Bowie and Bessie A Broaddus. I do not know who she married. I do have the Marriages of Caroline Co. that shows Brooks, Robert & Haslop, Elsa 8 May 1837 Horance Haslop (cmb) and then another entry, Brooks, Robert & Heslop, Eliza 1 May 1837 (cmb) I do not know if this is of any help to you or not. The census reads as follows: Russell Davis, head, b. July 1873, VA Birtie Davis, wife, b. Sept 1873, VA Lottie B., daughter, b. May 1894, VA Mattie D., daughter, b. Jan 1897, VA Malcolm, son, b. Nov 1895, VA F. Lee, brother, b. May 1885, VA Frank, brother, b. Jan 1871, VA This family moved to Washington, DC by 1910, (without the brothers) but I can't seem to move back in time. The only child that I have found any information on is Malcolm. I would especially love to find any information on James Russell's parents or siblings.
