Ralph Farmer, Jr. married to a Susannah Jones---May 3, 1805 Children: Nicodemus Farmer, 1817 Goochland or Caroline Co., Va. Hilton Farmer and Rebecca Farmer 2. Nicodemus Farmer died in 1864. He married Lucy Ann Greenstreet (Both show up in a census of 1850 in Caroline Co.) Children: Mary E. Farmer, born abt. 1840 William Farmer born abt 1841 Ann E. Farmer born abt 1842 C. K. Farmer born abt 1845 Lucy B. Farmer born abt 1846 Henry Newton Farmer, born between 1848-1849 Thomas Dillard Farmer born 1855, Goochland Co., Va. and died April 10, 1939 in Richmond. *****Notes on Thomas Dillard: He was a watchman for the C&O Railroad and is buried in Riverview Cemetery, Richmond Thomas Dillard Farmer married a gal named Martha Jane (Brown?) Childress. Martha's parents listed on her death certificate are Andrew Childress and Eliza Elizabeth Powers of Goochland Co., Va. Children: Walter Lee Farmer born in Richmond Calvin Farmer whom I was told was a Marshall for Va. Joe Farmer Edward Farmer Walter Lee Farmer died Oct. 25, 1944 in Philadelphia, Pa. He married a gal named May Lillian Emmons from Richmond, Va. May died in Philadelphia also. Children: Thomas Dillard Farmer, born Sept. 8, 1912 Richmond, Va. Died: April 16, 1981, Philadelphia, Pa. Jane Elizabeth Farmer born July 5, 1910, Richmond, Va. Died: December 1981 in Azusa, Calif. Walter Lee Frmer, born June 6, 1916 Richmond, Va. Mrs. Hall was a longtime member of Riverside Community Church in Beaverdam. She was the widow of Herman Page Hall and was predeceased by two sons, Bobby P. Hall and Joe S. Hall. She is survived by a daughter, Jean H. Stanley of Goochland; a sister, Olive Snead of Colonial Beach; three brothers, James Norman Rowley of Woodford, Thomas C. Rowley of South Carolina, and Ralph Rowley of Spotsylvania; and six grandsons. A funeral was held May 12, 2000 in the Riverside Community Center in Beaverdam. Burial was in the church cemetery....

But, I do have the one I "descend" from Sgt. Joseph Timberlake, Sr. b 1752 of the American Rev. War who md Ann Douglas. This Joseph came to KY. Your Joseph may have been an uncle. I have several Oliver, Price, Dixon, families in my database. If you can be more specific in who you are looking for with these names I will be more than happy to see if I have an information on them. My direct connection with the Timberlake family is thought my grandmother, Maude Ann Dye-Tucker who was the granddaughter of Mary K. Timberlake and Milton S. Dye. This Mary K. She is survived by her daughter, Virginia Grant; three granddaughters; and several great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held May 23, 2000 at Arlington National Cemetery.

I am researching a Matilda Pitts, b. 1801-2, daughter of James Pitts. This information is from a Caroline Co. Marriage License dated Dec. 28, 1819. Haydon Rouse, b. 1799-1800, marries Matilda Pitts, daughter of James Pitts. Witnesses: James Chandler and Mordecai Rouse. Younger Pitts is old enough to have been Matilda's grandfather but you don't list a James in between. Any thoughts?
